What format are the photos in? All Microstockphoto.com Stock Photography photos are in JPG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis? Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest 50 photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell? Yes you can. Microstockphoto.com Stock Photography are currently accepting submissions from photographers. File sizes should be at least (1600 x 1200) pixels which is approximately 2 MP. Submissions should be in jpg format at the highest quality compression and no more than 8 Megabytes if possible. To work out the size of your image in Megapixels, multiply the width and height dimensions of your image. For example, an image of dimensions 1800 pixels by 1200 pixels which is equal to 1800 x 1200 = 2,160,000 or 2.16 MP. An image of 1850 pixels x 1200 pixels is equal to 2,220,000 or 2.2 MP. No image should be smaller than 1200 pixels on the shortest side regardless of overall megapixels.
If I sell my photographs, when do I get paid? When your balance reaches $50.00 you can request to be paid. Currently payment is paid into your PayPal acount. We are investigating other payment methods like Ikobo, Moneybookers etc. contact us if you have questions regarding this payment.
Do you offer refunds? Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer instant and full access to the digital images you purchased. As such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Microstockphoto.com Stock Photography photos that I download? Yes. While Microstockphoto.com Stock Photography offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. Please read the Licencing Agreement and Terms of Use for full details.
If I purchase a photograph are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site? No, you pay from $0.80 to $1 per credit, that is all you pay. Cost per image is 1 credit for small images (web versions) and 2 credits for large images (print version).
Is account sharing allowed? No, under no circumstances can you share your images or download link with anyone else. Sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual images must be purchased separately by your friends and colleagues.
I bought some images, but when I reach the download page, it says my order is not a valid order number, what do I do? On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase and you are not able to access photos immediately, try filling out your order number here: http://microstockphoto.com/download_instructions.php or send a support request.
What are Editorial images? Editorial images are images that have not been released for commercial use. MSP makes no representations or warranties with respect to the use of names, trademarks, logos, registered or copyrighted designs or works of art depicted in any Image. We do not provide the service of researching and/or obtaining any needed additional releases. You must investigate yourself that all necessary rights, consents or permissions as may be required for reproduction of any Image have been secured by you. |
